BID - 2026 Sanitary Sewer and Storm Drain Rehabilitation Project

The 2026 Sanitary Sewer and Storm Drain Rehabilitation Project will rehabilitate sewers and storm drains located in roadways at various locations in the City of Albany. In general, the work to be done under this contract consists of construction of approximately 1,807 feet of 6”-15” VCP sewer mains and 732 feet of 15”-24” VCP storm drains and using pipe bursting, pipe reaming, directional drilling and open trench methods. The project will also involve the installation of new lower laterals for the replaced sewer lines, and installation of new manhole structures, rehabilitation of existing manhole structures, installation of drainage structures and restoration of all private and public improvements and landscaping in the City of Albany, including all labor, equipment and materials, together with traffic control. The project includes Bid Alternate #1 for various storm drain improvement in the vicinity of 1448 Portland Avenue. The estimated construction cost is $1,960,000, with a scheduled duration of 100 working days.

Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. on August 13, 2026, at Albany City Hall. Bidders must hold a valid Class A (General Engineering) California contractor’s license and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. All bids must include a 10% bid security.
