Gwinnett County is soliciting competitive informal written Quotes from qualified suppliers for the

Purchase and Delivery of Mattress Sets for the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.

Quotes should be typed or submitted in ink and returned to the Attention of Diana Turner, Purchasing

Associate II. Quotes should be received by 3:00 P.M. EST on July 20, 2026 via email at

Diana.Turner@GwinnettCounty.com or sent to the Gwinnett County Financial Services - Purchasing

Division – 2nd Floor, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046.

Successful supplier will be required to meet insurance requirements. The Insurance Company should be

authorized to do business in Georgia by the Georgia Insurance Department and must have an A.M. Best

rating of A-5 or higher.

Award will be made to the supplier submitting the lowest responsive and responsible Quote. Gwinnett

County reserves the right to reject any or all Quotes, to waive technicalities, and to make an award

deemed in its best interest. Quotes may be split or awarded in entirety. Gwinnett County reserves the

option to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with the lowest responsive, responsible bidder(s) at its

discretion.

Specifications and Requirements

I. Scope of Work

A. Purchase and delivery of mattress sets to eight (8) Gwinnett County fire stations. Full

specifications are listed in Quote Schedule.

B. Unit price shall include all associated fees, including but not limited to shipping, delivery,

loading/unloading, and hauling away old mattress sets.

C. The use of brand name is not for restrictive purposes or to limit competition, but to assist

suppliers in determining the standard of quality Gwinnett County is seeking. It is understood

that items matching or exceeding the quality level are also acceptable. Gwinnett County shall

be the sole determinant of acceptability of all approved equivalents. It is the supplier’s

responsibility to prove equivalent products match or exceed the quality level of the product(s)

specified.

II. Requirements:

A. Equivalent(s) quoted must meet or exceed the specifications of equipment in the description.

B. If product differs from description(s) in Quote Schedule, supplier must supply

specification sheets for the product being used prior to award.

C. Successful supplier will be required to provide a valid Certificate of Insurance per the

attached requirements.

D. Successful supplier will be required to complete and return the attached Contractor

Affidavit and Agreement.

III. Delivery

A. Delivery must be pre-arranged with department. Contact information will be provided to

successful supplier.

B. Delivery hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 P.M. EST Monday through Friday. Deliveries are not

accepted on weekends or federal holidays.

C. Delivery shall occur at multiple fire stations throughout Gwinnett County. Full list of

locations and number of sets to each are listed below.
