Request for Proposals (RFP) for Professional Design Services - Soquel Drive Multimodal Project

The County of Santa Cruz, Department of Community Development and Infrastructure invites qualified firms to submit a proposal for Professional Design Services for the Soquel Drive Multimodal Project. The selected consultant shall be required to follow all State and Federal laws and regulations.

The Consultant shall meet the appropriate minimum qualifications as required by this contract. The performance period is no greater than eighteen (18) months, with a project schedule determined by the County and the selected Consultant. The proposals submitted in response to this RFP will be used as a basis for selecting the Consultant for this project. The proposal shall not exceed sixteen (16) pages.

The County of Santa Cruz (“County”) invites qualified firms to submit proposals to provide Professional Design Services for the Soquel Drive Multimodal Project. The County intends to award one contract to the highest-ranked firm based on the evaluation criteria herein.

The purpose of the Project is to implement multimodal transportation improvements along the urban Soquel Drive corridor to enhance pedestrian and bicycle safety, accessibility, and connectivity while improving overall travel operations. The Project will improve approximately 2.4 miles of Soquel Drive between State Park Drive and Freedom Boulevard within existing public right-of-way.
