NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that requests for proposals will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts for OPERATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL COLLECTION CENTER AT EDCO RECYCLING AND TRANSFER AT SIGNAL HILL, CA.
DESCRIPTION: Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts (Districts), pursuant to an agreement with the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works (County), is hereby soliciting proposals from qualified firms to operate a permanent household hazardous-electronic waste (HHEW) collection facility in the City of Signal Hill (Collection Center) for calendar years 2027, 2028, and 2029. The Collection Center is situated within the EDCO Recycling & Transfer facility located at 2755 California Avenue in the City of Signal Hill (EDCO). The Districts, on behalf of the County, the City of Long Beach, and EDCO will select one contractor to provide the services required to operate this center.
