Description:
The Community Forestry Management Plan Street Tree Planting and Maintenance Project is a collaborative initiative between the County of Los Angeles (County) Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), Department of Public Works (DPW), Chief Sustainability Office (CSO), Department of Public Health (DPH), and Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR). As part of the Early Action Implementation, the County shall plant 1,600 new trees in unincorporated Los Angeles County, including 500 in County parks and 1,100 along residential streets and corridors.

The selected Subrecipient shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals required to complete the planting of 1,100 trees within County-identified areas of unincorporated Los Angeles County. The Subrecipient shall also perform maintenance services for a period of ninety (90) calendar days following planting and utilize Geographic Information System (GIS) tools to manage tree inventory and monitor the maintenance activities throughout the 90-day post-planting period.
