The work comprises elevator improvements and modernizations at the following sites:
Service Building (E31) – Easterly Wastewater Treatment Plant: minor repairs and painting of one hydraulic elevator.
Administration Building (E80) – Easterly Wastewater Treatment Plant: minor repairs and painting of one traction passenger elevator.
George J. McMonagle Administration Building (GJM) : controls updates and minor cab repairs for both hydraulic passenger elevators.
Solids Handling Building (W20) – Westerly Wastewater Treatment Center: minor cab repairs and cab interior upgrades of one traction freight elevator.
Maintenance Building (W40) – Westerly Wastewater Treatment Center: minor cab repairs and cab interior upgrades of one traction freight elevator.
Environmental & Maintenance Services Center (EMSC): complete modernization of one hydraulic passenger elevator.
Second Stage Lift Station (S21) – Southerly Wastewater Treatment Center: minor repairs for one hydraulic passenger elevator.
Blower Building (S23) – Southerly Wastewater Treatment Center: complete modernization of one hydraulic freight elevator.
Administration Building (S30) – Southerly Wastewater Treatment Center: complete modernization of one hydraulic freight elevator.
Renewable Energy Building (S47) – Southerly Wastewater Treatment Center: minor repairs and cleaning of one traction passenger elevator and one traction freight elevator.
Cuyahoga Valley Interceptor (S58) – Southerly Wastewater Treatment Center: complete modernization of one traction freight elevator.
The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (Sewer District) protects public health and the environment by leading effective wastewater and stormwater management. As the largest wastewater treatment provider in the State of Ohio, the Sewer District spans 380 square miles, serves 62 communities and one million residents, treats 90 billion gallons of wastewater a year, and manages more than 400 miles of streams.
In addition to its award-winning treatment plant and laboratory performance, the Sewer District's Project Clean Lake construction program will reduce annual Lake Erie pollution by 4 billion gallons by 2035, while its Regional Stormwater Management Program addresses widespread inter-community problems like flooding, pollution, and erosion.
