SURPLUS VEHICLE 2000 INTERNATIONAL 4900 DUMP TRUCK
The City of Big Rapids is accepting sealed bids for the sale of the following surplus vehicle:
Vehicle: 2000 International 4900 Dump Truck
VIN: IHTSDAANOYH208702
Minimum Acceptable Bid: $1,000.00
VEHICLE CONDITION
The vehicle is being sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no warranties expressed or implied.
Known condition issues include:
ABS warning light is illuminated.
Small oil seep; nothing major is currently known.
Truck is in good running condition.
May require a jump start due to sitting or may need a new battery.
Body has some rust consistent with the age and use of the vehicle.
Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the vehicle prior to submitting a bid. The City of
Big Rapids makes no representations or warranties regarding the condition, operation, or
suitability of the vehicle.
VEHICLE INSPECTION
Interested bidders may inspect the vehicle at:

Inspection hours are 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

BID REQUIREMENTS
Bids must include the bidder's name, address, telephone number, vehicle being bid upon, and bid
amount.
Bids below the minimum acceptable bid of $1,000.00 will not be considered.
Sealed bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked 2000 INTERNATIONAL
4900 DUMP TRUCK Bid” and delivered to Big Rapids City Hall, Big Rapids, Michigan.
Bids must be received no later than 2:45 p.m. on September 14, 2026. Bids received after the
deadline will not be considered.
The City of Big Rapids reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any
irregularities in the bidding process.
The successful bidder shall be responsible for all costs associated with payment, title transfer,
removal, transportation, and any other expenses related to the purchase of the vehicle.
The vehicle must be removed from City property within a reasonable period following
notification of the successful bid.
All bids must be submitted by the advertised deadline to be considered.
