SURPLUS VEHICLE – 2007 CHEVROLET WORK VAN

The City of Big Rapids is accepting sealed bids for the sale of the following surplus vehicle:

Vehicle: 2007 Chevrolet Work Van

Minimum Acceptable Bid: $500.00

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION & CONDITION

The vehicle is a Chevrolet work van configured for work use with built-in drawers and a rear

workstation, providing storage and workspace.

The vehicle is being sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no warranties expressed or implied.

Known condition information includes:

• Van is currently in good working condition.

• Built-in drawers and rear workstation remain in the vehicle.

• Van still needs to be cleaned out prior to sale.

• Body has substantial rust.

• Frame is solid.

• Powertrain is in good condition.

Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the vehicle prior to submitting a bid. The City of

Big Rapids makes no representations or warranties regarding the condition, operation, or

suitability of the vehicle.

BID REQUIREMENTS

Bids must include the bidder's name, address, telephone number, vehicle being bid upon, and bid

amount.

Bids below the minimum acceptable bid of $500.00 will not be considered.

Sealed bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “2007 CHEVROLET

WORK VAN Bid” and delivered to Big Rapids City Hall, Big Rapids, Michigan.

Bids must be received no later than 2:15 p.m. on September 14, 2026. Bids received after the

deadline will not be considered.

The City of Big Rapids reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any

irregularities in the bidding process.

The successful bidder shall be responsible for all costs associated with payment, title transfer,

removal, transportation, and any other expenses related to the purchase of the vehicle.

The vehicle must be removed from City property within a reasonable period following

notification of the successful bid.

All bids must be submitted by the advertised deadline to be considered.
