Title: Wharf Repairs, Anchor Point, NL

Background:

The contract will enable repairs to the existing structures that were identified during a safety inspection. The repairs will allow for safe operations of the facilities by fishers and the general public

Work Summary:

The scope of work for this project is the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material for wharf repairs at Anchor Point, NL, in strict accordance with specifications and accompanying drawings and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract.

In general, the work under this contract consists of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following:

.1        Demolition and removal of fenders, chocks and ladders as noted on the drawings. Note that the removal of the lower chocks on Structure #406 may require the use of divers.

.2        Supply and installation of structural timber for new fenders, ladders and associated hardware.

.3        Repainting of the existing wheelguard, as noted on the drawings.
