This announcement should not be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Navy does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Request for Information/Sources Sought Notice. THIS IS NOT A Request for a Proposal AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE U.S. GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A RFP. This sources sought notice is for U.S. Government planning purposes only and constitutes requests for exchange of information pursuant to FAR Part 10.
REQUIREMENTS: The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) Picatinny Detachment is currently seeking sources for the manufacture and delivery of MHU-191 Transporter Assemblies 3992AS100. The assemblies, which are on the Portable Ordnance Handling Equipment Allowance List for Combatant Ships, will be used to transport and load various weapons, stores, and equipment.
In responding to this Sources Sought Notice, respondents should provide the following information:
• A description of the item(s) that may be offered, should the government pursue procurement of these supplies/services.
• Past performance in providing the requested and/or similar supplies/services,
• A description of the respondent's technical and manufacturing capabilities,
• Company size (please identify as either Large, Foreign, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Woman-Owned Small Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone concern, Veteran-Owned Small Business, or Service-Disabled Small Business).
