Description

The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement to engage the services of two Senior Employee Relation Consultants to undertake one workplace assessment in Suffield, AB, following a recommendation from a previous investigation. Under the changes resulting from the introduction of the Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention Regulations all organizations are required to conduct a workplace assessment to identify risk factors. Following the investigation, there has been an increase in conflict and workplace strife between management and employees. Some employees have left, and others have voiced concern that continued escalation of such conflict will lead to a serious breach of health and safety. The Contractors will be responsible for all matters associated with the handling and conduct of the workplace assessment, in accordance with the Terms of Reference jointly agreed upon by the parties.
