NOTICE TO BIDDERS
RFB #26-051
Sealed proposals will be received by the County of Wake in the Procurement Services, Wake County Justice
Center, 301 S. McDowell Street, Suite 2900, Raleigh, NC 27601, for providing labor, material, and equipment
entering into Single Prime Contract for the South Wilmington Street Center Kitchen Renovations
Project, located in Raleigh, NC.
Sealed Single Prime bids will be received until 2:00 PM on May 20, 2026.
All bids will be publicly opened and read starting at 2:00 P.M.
The scope of this project is limited to approximately 6,166 SF of interior renovations inside the Wake County
South Wilmington Street Center. The project construction scope will include the interior renovation of the
existing kitchen area in the Men's Shelter. The kitchen work shall consist of select interior finish replacement,
some new kitchen equipment, freezer/cooler replacement and associated plumbing, mechanical, and electrical
work.
Mandatory Pre-bid Conference will be held at the project site located at 1420 South Wilmington Street
at 3:00 PM local prevailing time on May 6, 2026.
Complete contract documents in electronic PDF may be obtained beginning May 1, 2026, from the Architect

Copies of the plans and project manual will be available for review at the Architect's offices.
Wake County provides minorities and women equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of its construction

No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for bids.
Wake County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
