Naufrage Harbour, Kings County, PE
General Requirements:
The work covered under this project at Naufrage public wharf located in Kings County, Prince Edward Island, consists of furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material for the reconstruction of structure 403, leading to the launching ramp 501.
The work under this contract consists of, but not limited to the demolition of the existing approach structure 403 and partial demolition of the existing berthing wall; the removal and disposal of demolished materials such as concrete, asphalt, creosote timber and excavated material; the supply and installation of timber piles, reinforced concrete pile cap, steel sheet pile retaining wall complete with tie-rods and concrete deadman, treated timber walers and fenders and reinforced concrete slab; re-instate fill material, install class ‘A’ gravel, site restoration, and cleanup.
Contract includes mobilization and demobilization all equipment necessary to make work progress for the entire contract, including environmental controls and all associated items in strict accordance with specifications and accompanying drawings and subject to all terms and condition of this contract.
Only items in the Unit Price Table will be measured for payment. All other work necessary to complete the Contract will be considered incidental to the project and will not be measured separately for payment.
The estimated contract period will be 4 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/10/31.
