Sierra College- CMAR- Student Union Modernization Project

Project Description: This project will modernize and expand the existing 60 year-old Student Union Facility at the District’s Rocklin campus. The scope of the project will include modernization and renovation of the existing Building J - Student Union (approximately 27,000 gsf ) and the existing Building K - Bookstore (approximately 10,000 gsf) along with some expansion and infill of existing covered areas. The project will include replacement of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, seismic retrofit, glazing and storefront replacement, exterior skin replacement and reroofing along with substantial modernization of the sitework adjacent to the buildings. The current construction cost estimate of the project is $40,000,000 with a construction duration of approximately 18 months.
