Village of Lindenhurst is accepting  sealed proposals for providing all labor, equipment, vehicles, materials, and related services necessary for the collection of municipal waste, recyclables, and organic material (landscape waste and food scraps) at certain commercial, industrial, multi-family (more than eight (8) units), and institutional properties located within the corporate boundaries of the Village of Lindenhurst. The proposed initial term of the Franchise Agreement will begin on May 1, 2026 and end on April 30, 2031.

An Optional Pre-Proposal meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m., November 1, 2024 at the Lindenhurst Village Hall, 2301 E. Sand Lake Road, Lindenhurst.

Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted to Clay Johnson, Village Administrator, by 4:00 p.m., November 8, 2024, via email at cjohnson@lindenhurstil.org.
