The NESHOBA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS will receive competitive Sealed Bids returned
to Neshoba County Board of Supervisors C/O Chancery Clerk Gidget Tate, 401 E Beacon Street, Suite
107, Philadelphia, Mississippi 39350 or electronically via the Neshoba County website at
www.neshobacounty.net until 10:00 AM on Monday, June 1, 2026 for supplies and service contracts for a
one (1) year period from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 for the following commodities and services:
1.
Bridge Materials;
2.
Road Side Spraying;
3.
Crushed Limestone and Rip Rap;
4.
Road Gravel;
5.
Steel Slag Aggregate;
6.
Polyethylene Culvert Pipes;
7.
Corrugated Metal Pipes;
8.
Tank Car Culverts;
9.
Herbicides;
10. Asphalt – Hot Mix;
11. Liquid Asphalt;
12. Prime Coat Emulsion;
13. Providing Inmate Meals;
14. Portland Cement;
15. Soil Stabilizing / Road Reclaiming; &
16. Hauling Services for Road Materials.

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS
1.
All Bids shall be submitted to Neshoba County Board of Supervisors C/O Chancery Clerk
Gidget Tate, 401 E Beacon Street, Suite 107, Philadelphia, Mississippi 39350 or secure electronic bid at
www.neshobacounty.net/bids no later than 10:00 a.m. local time on Monday, June 1, 2026. The
electronic bid page is available under Quick Links with the heading of Electronic Bidding / Reverse
Auction on the left side of the county website at www.neshobacounty.net.

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days. Final Bid Approval is
anticipated at the June 15, 2026 Regular Board Meeting. By submitting a bid, you acknowledge
compliance with the specifications for that item.
3.
The vendor shall submit a complete proposal for said commodities and services with
sealed bid or via single PDF format file included with said bid form, which shall be utilized by the County
to determine compliance with the specifications and assist in making the determination of the best and
lowest bid. The County reserves the right to accept the bid deemed best and lowest for the County. The
County will be the final authority in determining compliance with the specifications. Questions concerning
the technical specifications may be submitted to purchaseclerk@neshobacounty.net.
It shall be incumbent upon each bidder to understand the specifications as listed herein and to
obtain clarification when necessary. It is not the intent of these specifications to limit the bidding to any
particular make or manufacturer of materials, but rather to select such materials to fill the specific need
and perform a specific task. Any reference to name-brand materials is intended to establish standards
