NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Housing Rehabilitation Program Single Family
The Community Development Office will be accepting bids for the rehabilitation of the
following single-family residences:
1. Columbia Ave
Basic work consists of General Construction/waterproofing. Any plumbing or electrical work
performed in the City of Middletown MUST be completed by a licensed City of Middletown
plumber or electrician. Contractors must have Certification of Completion of Lead Safe
Work Practices ** and EPA /RRP Certification.
Specifications and information for bidders are available at the Office of Economic and
Community Development, 16 James Street, 3rd Floor, Middletown, NY 10940, Monday thru
Friday, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. (845)-346-4170 Phone.
The Pre-Bid meeting to be held on October 6, 2026 beginning at 3pm is mandatory. Precise
locations will be included in the bid packets.
Bids are due on Friday October 9, 2026 at time 4 PM
The public bid opening will be held in the Community Development Office located at City
Hall, 16 James Street, 3rd Floor, Middletown, NY 10940 on Friday October 9, 2026 at time 4
PM.
We reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
