Water Resources Chemicals - Totalox
Due to the sensitivity needs for odor control, the City of Lynchburg intends to
award Univar Solutions USA, Inc, 200 Dean Sievers Place, Morrisville,
Pennsylvania, 19067 the sole source contract for the purchase of Totalox. This is
a specially formulated chemical which has proven a 99% reduction in odor
generated in the Lynch-Pinn Industrial Park and the three miles along the Ivy
Creek Interceptor corridor. The estimated annual expenditure is $200,000.00 at
an initial cost of $.58/lb.
