Request for Proposal for Battery Electric Bus Heavy Duty Charging Equipment

Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is issuing this RFP for Battery Electric Bus (BEB) charging equipment procurement. CTDOT request respondents to present installation-ready solutions to support overhead Battery Electric Bus charging to the SAE J3105-1 standard (pantograph down) and SAE J1772 DC charging standard (CCS Type1). Proposed solutions with exceptions to these standards will be considered. Any such exceptions shall be disclosed in the respondent’s response.
