Birchwood Park Basketball Court Resurfacing
by:

2011 Fay Street, Durham, NC 27704

Summary of Work:
Renovation of existing concrete athletic court at Birchwood Park, located at 3105 Hursey
Street, Durham, NC 27703:
Trim trees around perimeter of court (Alternate #1)
Remove and replace two existing basketball goals (Alternate #2)
Clean and Prep existing concrete basketball court surface
Repair cracks in concrete per manufacturer instructions
Application of Adhesion Promoter
Application of primer
Application of single color acrylic coats
Lay out and apply court striping for basketball and pickleball
Bidders are encouraged to attend a non-mandatory pre-bid conference to go over the project on
January 28 at 10am, at Birchwood Park, 3105 Hursey St. Durham, NC 27703.

The Underutilized Business Enterprise (UBE) goals for this project are MBE 0% and WBE
0%. Bidders are responsible for filling out the required UBE Construction forms and including
them in their bid package to be considered responsive.

writing via the email below according to the directions given in the Request for Approval of
Substitution and in the Instructions to Bidders prior to Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 5pm.
