Rescue Boat-R.C. Sheriff Marine Unit

The Rockland County Sheriff’s Department is seeking bids to purchase one (1) new WHALY R500 Rescue boat, Yamaha motor and trailer or equivalent to perform river patrol and search & rescue operations. A qualified manufacturer would be one who has been building law enforcement patrol and rescue boats for over three consecutive years. No prototypes or experimental boats will be accepted. The County requires a polyethylene vessel that can successfully and safely perform a variety of missions in the following environmental conditions.
