Analytical Services for water and Wastewater Testing
Synopsis:

Select a Vendor to perform Analytical Services for the City of Prince Albert.

The City of Prince Albert is issuing a Tender for Vendors to bid on Analytical Services to support the operations of the Water Treatment Plant, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Landfill and the Water/Sewer Department.

The City of Prince Albert’s Water Treatment Plant, Water Distribution System, Wastewater Treatment Plant and Wastewater Collection System are regulated by the Water Security Agency (WSA) and as such the WSA issues the City of Prince Albert Permits to Operate for the aforementioned facilities. The City of Prince Albert (the permittee) must submit samples to be analyzed for a variety of parameters to a certified laboratory based on the frequencies directed in the corresponding Permit’s to Operate, or otherwise directed by the regulator, or as set out in The Waterworks and Sewage Works Regulations.

The City of Prince Albert Landfill is regulated by the Saskatchewan ministry of Environment and issued a permit to operate from this authority.

The City of Prince Albert currently uses a software database called WaterTrax to organize and manage our analytical & operational data. The attached Appendix “A” (Average Sampling Frequencies & Monitoring Parameters) will outline the minimum parameters that must be analyzed along with the average monitoring frequency for the City of Prince Albert. The laboratory shall also disclose any other costs the City may incur on top of the amount per analysis.

The City of Prince Albert will be considering our shipping costs incurred to get samples to the laboratories along with any other related costs associated with laboratory set up fees in our final cost analysis.
