The Metropolitan District (MDC) is inviting qualified companies to submit bids on Contract Number 2025B-04. The MDC intends to obtain formal bids from qualified contractors to remove liquid sludge from digesters located at the District's Poquonock WPCF, 1222 Poquonock Ave, Windsor CT, at biweekly intervals and transport it to the District's Regional solids receiving facility located at the Hartford WPCF, 240 Brainard Road, Hartford, CT. A total of between 26,000 to 32,500 gallons is expected to be loaded and transported each scheduled collection day. Each load transported must hold a minimum of 6,500 gallons. Sludge loading and transportation is to occur at scheduled intervals on Thursdays during the calendar year.
