The Douglasville ¿ Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority (the ¿Authority¿) is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the performance of the Creek Indian Trail Stormwater Improvement Project (the ¿Project¿), as more fully described in the Invitation for Bids. The scope of work includes the provision by the Contractor of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work. The Project will be ¿turn key¿ and require minimal involvement of Authority personnel.
The work to be performed shall include the removal of approximately 64 linear feet (LF) of 30¿ reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), two double wing catch basins, and two concrete headwalls. The Project includes installation of approximately 68 LF of 10¿ x 5¿ reinforced box culvert two double wing catch basins, two concrete headwalls, and associated road restoration. The project site is located within Douglas County. Plans for Creek Indian Trail Stormwater Improvement Project have been prepared by the Authority, Dane Hanson, PE, dated February 13, 2025.
Special Conditions and Appendices contain more detailed information on the Project scope.
All work will be performed within Authority easements and/or inside public right of way. All anticipated rights of way and easements required for the Project have been obtained. All anticipated federal, state, and local permits required for the Project have been obtained.
Parties interested in this Invitation for Bids must obtain a copy of the full bid package or their bids will be considered nonresponsive.
