INVITATION TO BID ITB 27-004-075
Sealed bids from General Contractors will be received by Fayette County Schools at the Board
of Education Office, 205 LaFayette Avenue, Fayetteville, Georgia until 3:00 P.M., Prevailing
Time, October 22, 2026, for Whitewater High School - Renovations, Fayette County,
Georgia. At the time and place noted above, the bids for the Project will be publicly opened and
read.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held October 8, 2026, at 1:00 P.M.at the
Fayette County Board of Education located at 205 LaFayette Avenue, Fayetteville, Georgia.
Electronic bidding documents may be obtained at the office of PBK Architects Georgia, P.C.,
525 East Taylor Street, P.O. Box 880, Griffin, Georgia30223. Registration for documents,
together with non-refundable deposit of $250.00 should be filed promptly with the Architects. A
share file link for accessing PDFs of bid documents will be emailed as soon as possible. Only
bids received from Contractors registered with the Architect will be accepted.

Only a bid submitted by a Bidder on record with the Architect as having received plans
and specifications from the Architect will be opened.
The contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of
60 days after time has been called on date of opening. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid
Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the Base Bid. Both a Performance and a Payment Bond
will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. The Owner reserves the
right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
