The county is seeking a qualified contractor to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction services of a sidewalk widening project in between Langston Blvd WBL and EBL along Ft Myer Dr. This includes work over top of the I-66 tunnel, which requires a non-standard sidewalk section shown in the details (the âProjectâ), and all other work shown, described, and required by the Contract Documents (hereinafter âthe Workâ).The project will include at the intersection of Ft Myer Drive and Langston Blvd EBL new curb ramps on three corners. There will be two new curb inlets installed to replace two existing structures that are then converted to manholes. There will be a short run of proposed storm sewer to connect one of the new curb inlets. This intersection will also have two new traffic signal poles and the accompanying infrastructure related to them. The project will include traffic signal work at the intersection of N Nash St and Langston Blvd EBL â three new traffic signal poles and pedestrian poles, among other signal infrastructure shown in the contract documents.
