Pump Assemblies

This requirement is for the Teardown/Test/Evaluation (TT&E) and repair of Mechanical Transmission Assembly NSN 2520-00-010-3114, P/N 18-2011, L18 Series Sundstrand /Danfoss, Pump Assembly NSN 4320-01-216-9809VX, P/N 60244-40687, L15 Series Sundstrand /Danfoss, Pump Assembly NSN 4320-01-174-0506VX, P/N 58313-90004, L20 Series Sundstrand /Danfoss and Pump Assembly NSN 4320-01-355-4464, P/N 2520-025, Eaton. These components assist in providing the necessary functions that enable the safe operation of the MHU-83 Series Munition Handling/Loading Lift Truck and MHU-196/204M Munitions Handling Lift Trailer. The contractor shall perform all actions necessary to return reparable items to a serviceable condition. The contractor shall perform Teardown, Test, and Evaluation (TT&E) first. Once TT&E is completed, the contractor shall then perform the repair and return each item in a serviceable condition.

The contractor will also be required to replace the V7058 style control valve with an MCV104 control valve on Pump Assembly NSN 4320-01-174-0506VX, P/N 58313-90004-20. This Danfoss 20 Series Control Valve, P/N MCV104A5922 Displacement Valve with Installation Kit, is available from European Industrial Products, Inc. 5785 Advantage Cove, Memphis TN, 38141. Kits are complete with Spacer, operating link, and all hardware required to bolt on. Since this new valve operates with lower voltage and current, a 75-ohm 3-watt resistor must be installed. In addition, the Packard connector supplied with the valve must be replaced with an Amphenol 44 Series 2-wire connector.
