This RFI/Sources Sought is being issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10, Market Research. It is for information, planning and market research purposes only and shall not be construed as either a solicitation or obligation on the part of the DHS/USSS. The purpose of this notice is to help the DHS/USSS understand the industry best practices and technical specifications capable of meeting the government’s need. DHS/USSS will use this market research information to assess the market's capability to successfully meet the acquisition of 5G cellular drive test scanner with analytical software compatible with a cell site simulator, analyzing call detail records and a virtual pen register / trap and trace.The service requirements identified in this Statement of Work are critical to the performance of the USSS’s mission while also providing for the safety and welfare of public. The Offeror’s capability statement shall include work experience of a similar nature, scope, complexity, and difficulty to that which will be performed under the prospective contract contemplated in accordance with the Special Notice. Offeror’s are encouraged to provide any comments to draft Statement of Work.
The solicitation may be a total small business set-aside and the NACIS code for the solicitation will be 517810. The solicitation will be made available on or about TBD and may be posted on sam.gov or GSA.
Acknowledgment of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of the outcome of the DHS/USSS review of the information received. This notice is not to be constructed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this notification. However, DHS/USSS reserves the right to contact one or more of respondents if additional information is required.
