The City of Pittsburg, Kansas is seeking quotes from financial institutions for the financing of:

(1) 2026 Freightliner Garbage Truck – with Cummins L9 350 hp diesel engine, Allison 3000 RDS automatic transmission, tandem axle, white in color.

(1) New Way 25 RL Cobra Magnum series 25 cubic yard rear loading refuse packer

The specifics of the purchase are as follows:

  • Total contract price of $258,900 (see attached estimate for standard equipment descriptions).
  • Quotes shall include these lease options:
    • 7-year lease / purchase
    • 7 annual payments, first at delivery of equipment
  • Quotes shall include the annual payment amount, payment schedule, and interest rate.
  • Quotes shall include the bidders lease purchase agreement which will be subject to the provisions of KSA 10-1116b and KSA 10-1116c and the City of Pittsburg’s purchasing policy.
  • All quotes shall be viable for a minimum of 30-days from submission.
  • All quotes must be submitted by 2:00 p.m., June 23 rd 2025, and clearly marked “Equipment Lease Quotes – (1) 2026 Freightliner Garbage Truck.”
  • Quotes received after 2:00 p.m. on June 23 rd 2025 will not be considered.
