ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Separate and sealed bids or electronic bids for the construction of SOUTH PARKWAY
WIDENING FOR CORINTH, MS, ARC PROJECT NO. MS-22095-2025 will be received by
the CITY OF CORINTH until 10:00 A.M. on THURSDAY, APRIL 2, 2026 and then at said
office publicly opened and read aloud. Sealed bids will be received until the designated
date and time AT CORINTH CITY HALL, 300 CHILDS STREET, CORINTH, MS 38835.
Electronic bids will be received until the date and time via electronic online submission
through www.cceplanroom.com.
The work shall consist of the following approximate items: approximately 1,188 linear feet
of 12-foot lane addition on the east side of South Parkway Street. Work includes cold
milling and asphalt overlay; relocation of approximately 970 linear feet of 4" PE gas and
10" DIP water utilities; installation of combination curb and gutter, drainage structures
with underdrains, reinforced concrete pipe, and filter materials; concrete driveways;
crushed stone base; hot mix asphalt pavement; striping, signage, and raised pavement
markers; seeding, sodding, and erosion controls; and maintenance of traffic.
The Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations: CITY OF CORINTH
LOCATED 300 CHILDS STREET, CORINTH, MS 38835 and Cook Coggin Engineers, Inc.,
703 Crossover Road, Tupelo, Mississippi 38801.
Registering for a free account at www.cceplanroom.com will enable bidders to view and/or
order Contract Documents online and/or complete the electronic bidding process. The only
requirement for account registration is a valid email address. Questions regarding website
registration, online orders and/or electronic bidding shall be directed to Plan House Printing
at (662) 407-0193.
Contract Documents are issued to potential Bidders from Plan House Printing and Graphics,
607 West Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38804. Bidders may opt to purchase Contract
Documents online at www.cceplanroom.com. All payments for Bid Documents are non-
refundable and shall be made payable to Plan House Printing and Graphics, 607 West Main
Street, Tupelo, MS 38804.
Bids will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom contract documents
have been issued by Plan House Printing, on behalf of the Engineer, and whose name
appears on the official list of Planholders maintained by Plan House Printing.
Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime
contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting
opportunities, equipment, materials and/or supply needs. The CITY OF CORINTH is an

in consideration for an award.
The successful bidder must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act which requires that all
laborers and mechanics shall be paid at rates not less than those determined by the
Department of Labor to be the prevailing for the locality in which the project is located.
This project is being funded in part by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) Grant
#MS-22095-2025 and the rules and regulations therein apply.
The contract will be awarded as an entire job and individual items will not be let for
separate work.
Each bidder must deposit with this bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the
conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. For Bidders submitting bids
electronically, the bond submitted must be either a bond issued by the Surety in electronic
format or the original hard copy of the bid bond must be submitted to the CITY OF
CORINTH LOCATED 300 CHILDS STREET, CORINTH, MS 38835 prior to bid opening in
order for the bid to be valid.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening
thereof.
Simultaneously with his delivery of the executed contract, the Contractor shall furnish
surety bonds subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
All applicable laws, ordinances and the rules and regulations of all authorities having
jurisdiction over construction of the project shall apply to the contract throughout.
Each Bidder is responsible for inspecting the site and for reading and being thoroughly
familiar with the Contract Documents. The failure or omission of any Bidder to do any of
the foregoing shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation in respect to this Bid.
A conditional or qualified Bid will not be accepted. Award will be made to the lowest
responsible, responsive Bidder.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids.
