Description: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that the County of Ontario will receive Proposals for Improvements to Deep Run Park EPF Grant # 238944 (R25059). Such proposals must be filed with the Ontario County Purchasing Director, 20 Ontario Street, Canandaigua, New York 14424, before 4:00 pm prevailing time, June 26, 2025. All questions pertaining to this RFP shall be forwarded in writing through the County’s OpenGov Procurement portal ( https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/ontariocountyny /projects/164010) or through the Director of Purchasing at the address shown above. Proposals are to be submitted via the County's eProcurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/ontariocountyny . The county prefers electronic submittals, however accommodations can be made for paper submittals if necessary. Ontario County is seeking a proposal and pricing for concept refinement services needed for the construction of EPF# 238944: Improvements to Deep Run Park. The County has received grant funds from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation under the 1993 NYS Environmental Protection Act for these services. The goal for the proposed improvements is to increase accessibility with low-impact and sustainable features, offer diverse experiences on the water, and protect water quality at the park. This project is funded in part by a grant from the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation through Title 9 of the Environmental Protection Act of 1993. Under Article 15A, Executive Law, the State of New York is committed to providing Minority and Women Owned Business (MWBE) equal opportunity to participate in government contracts. Though there are no required goals for MWBE participation in this grant funded project, the successful bidder will be required to make a Good Faith Effort in the utilization of MWBE's and furnish reports showing the participation of various business enterprises of subcontractors and suppliers on the contract.
