| Description: | This project includes the design, fabrication and installation of an automated materials handling system (AMHS) with one internal and one external book drop (induction point). The AMHS should have the capability to handle and mechanically separate multiple items at each book drop (“de-shingling”). A fire suppression system is required at the external book drop. The system should include a minimum of seven bins and shall have the capacity to handle 1,680 items. Additional system requirements can be found in the bidding documents. | |
