USCIS OCON justified an exception to fair opportunity pursuant to FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C).) for the procurement of DevSecOps services to operate and maintain major USCIS systems from Alethix, LLC in Fairfax, VA 22033, under its CIO-SP3 Small Business contract number 75N98119D00009, order number 70SBUR21F00000121.
The extension of non-severable services was necessary to continue the final phase of work to improve the H1B visa registration process and continue development on the network of online capabilities for the I-129 form. This work, in addition to security maintenance of major USCIS systems, must continue while USCIS proceeds with its competitive recompete.
Alethix has been satisfactorily performing these services since July 2021 and the development teams continue to actively work the priorities outlined above.
