Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Ocean Springs, MS, will be accepting sealed proposals at City Hall, 1018 Porter Ave. until 2:00 p.m. on October 8, 2025 .

The sealed RFP envelope must indicate the Proposer’s name, address, and marked

“City Lobbying Services.” Electronic proposals may be submitted at www.oceanspringsbids.com .

City Lobbying Services

The City is seeking qualified firms or individuals to provide governmental relations and lobbying services on behalf of the City of Ocean Springs. The scope of services includes, but is not limited to:

• Representing the City before the Mississippi Legislature, U.S. Congress, and other governmental or quasi-governmental agencies;

• Direct communication with legislators and officials concerning relevant legislation;

• Appearances before committees and state agencies;

• Monitoring and reporting on legislative, administrative, and regulatory issues affecting the City;

• Assisting in the development of the City’s legislative agenda and strategy;

• Providing regular updates and consultation with the Mayor and Board of Aldermen.

The successful proposer will be expected to coordinate all services and activities in advance with the City and its representatives and comply with all applicable Federal and State of Mississippi lobbying statutes and reporting requirements.
