The City of Greenville is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for one (1) pedestrian bridge over Verdae Boulevard extending the Green Line of the Swamp Rabbit Trail system. The construction limits of this project extend approximately 1180 ft in length, extending to the north and south of Verdae Boulevard. Verdae Boulevard is owned and maintained by the City of Greenville.
The proposed scope of work includes traffic control, grading, erosion control, constructing approach ramps, access ramps, MSE walls, substructures, cored slab spans, and the erection of prefabricated steel truss spans in accordance with the plans/specifications contained herein (or as directed by City/Engineer).
Contractor will be responsible for traffic control in the park during construction to limit disturbance of activities and minimize loss of parking. Construction activities shall be coordinated with the City’s project manager prior to beginning work. The contractor shall be considerate of all user groups in the park.
Bids will be received electronically until 2:00 P.M. ET, May 9, 2025. The deadline for questions is 2:00 p.m., April 30, 2025.
