Premixed Concrete Delivered

This Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a contract for furnishing and delivering Ready-Mix Portland Cement Concrete to the Montgomery County Department of Transportation, Division of Highway Services. The Contract bid price will be the full compensation for furnishing, transporting, delivering, and unloading the specified mix of Ready-Mix Portland Cement Concrete. All materials provided as part of this solicitation will be delivered to various work sites located within the political boundaries of Montgomery County, Maryland. All materials and services furnished under the terms of this Invitation for Bids and subsequent Contract must conform to the conditions and specifications provided in the Maryland Department of Transportation, State Highway Administration’s Standard Specifications for Construction and Materials, and revisions and additions thereto; and compliance with the most current Edition of the AASHTO specifications.

All Ready-Mix Portland Cement Concrete delivered to the Division of Highway Services must be from a Ready-Mix Portland Cement Concrete production plant approved and certified by the Maryland State Highway Administration’s Office of Material Technology (OMT) and/or from a production plant with a Quality Control Plan approved or pending approval by the Montgomery County, Department of Transportation. Material products source of supply and product data sheets of all materials proposed for use in this contract must be submitted for approval to the County within five (5) calendar days after award of the contract.
