Description

The 147th Attack Wing Contracting office intends to award a sole source contract to Monaco Enterprises, Inc. for the delivery and installation of additional asset protection products with installation including: 1 tower CPU, keyboard and mouse; configure CPU with current D-21 database, configure with D-21 V2 software upgrade, transfer of software licensing, decommission existing CPU, replace two widescreen monitors, install back up power, provide and install network switch, provide and install RFM-X and device server.

Monaco Enterprises, Inc. is the sole source for Monaco manufactured systems and components, as well as the sole source for manufacturer-certified installation and training. The equipment and technical information are proprietary in nature and specific only to the OEM. Additionally, Monaco is the current installed asset protection system at the 145th Attack Wing. This requirement is to expand and replace outdated equipment on the current asset protection system. It would not be cost effective for the government to install an entire new asset protection system throughout the whole installation. As such competing this requirement on the open market is not reasonable.

There will be no written solicitation issued. This procurement is being made pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a single source. All qualified sources must respond not later than the date and time specified under General Information within this special notice.

A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses should be emailed Attention SMSgt Shawn T. Stewart at shawn.stewart.4@us.af.mil, and MSgt Buddy L. Ciemiengo at buddy.ciemiengo.1@us.af.mil. No telephone or fax inquiries will be accepted.
