The Town of Telluride and Town of Mountain Village seek qualified individuals, firms, or consortia to submit proposals for professional engineering design services to complete a regional Telluride-Mountain Village Transportation Safety Action Plan for the two neighboring communities of Telluride, Colorado, and Mountain Village, Colorado. This plan will gather and analyze data, engage stakeholders, and identify and prioritize projects and strategies to improve safety in the two towns, aiming to reduce and eliminate serious and fatal accidents affecting all roadway users. The Town of Telluride is the lead entity on this project.
The Plan will be utilized by both towns in order to apply for future Implementation Grants under the United States Department of Transportation’s (U.S. DOT) Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) discretionary program. Therefore, the Plan must comply with and include all components in the U.S. DOT’s Comprehensive Safety Action Plan requirements. (Please refer to Exhibit A.)

If a hard copy is submitted, please provide seven (7) copies sealed in a manila envelope clearly marked as a “Telluride – Mountain Village Transportation Safety Action Plan” and to the attention of Darin Graber, Sustainability and Grant Administrator via hand or overnight delivery to Rebekah Hall 113 W.
