Tourism Saskatchewan RFP - Corporate Accessibility Plan
Synopsis:

Tourism Saskatchewan requires the assistance of a qualified supplier to provide professional consulting services for the development of an accessibility plan for the organization. With 30 per cent of Saskatchewan residents over the age of 15 reporting a disability, Tourism Saskatchewan has an opportunity to improve its accessible work environment where current and future employees can thrive. By addressing accessibility challenges, the organization can enhance recruitment efforts and solidify its position as an employer of choice. Accessibility barriers, including physical, informational, communication, and attitudinal barriers, prevent full participation and equal access for individuals with disabilities. The Tourism Saskatchewan Accessibility Plan aims to identify, remove, and prevent these barriers for employees, aligning with the Government of Saskatchewan's (GoS) accessibility goals outlined in The Accessible Saskatchewan Act, 2023.

This Request for Proposals (RFP) aims to engage a qualified supplier to assist in developing an accessibility plan for the organization. This action plan is being created specifically for Tourism Saskatchewan, not for the broader tourism industry in Saskatchewan.

Additional Information:

Tourism Saskatchewan was established pursuant to The Tourism Saskatchewan Act proclaimed on July 1, 2012. Tourism Saskatchewan is a Treasury Board Crown Corporation within the meaning of The Crown Corporations Act, 1993. Tourism Saskatchewan promotes the province as a tourism destination by providing in-province and out-of-province marketing and visitor services. Tourism Saskatchewan assists industry to market and develop quality tourism products through co-operative marketing, education and training, event funding programs and research.
