GENERAL NOTICE

City of Waveland (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following

Project:

Sanitary Sewer Lift Station Rehabilitation Project

Sealed bids for the construction of the Sanitary Sewer Lift Station Rehabilitation Project

will be received by the City Clerk for the City of Waveland located at 301 Coleman

Avenue (2nd floor) Waveland, MS 39576, until Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 2:00 pm

local time. All bids received will be publicly opened and the bid amount read aloud

Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 6:30 PM, local time at the Meeting of the Board of Mayor

and Aldermen.

The work included in the Contract shall consist primarily of the following items:

Rehabilitation of Sanitary Sewer Lift Stations including lining, new pumps, check

valves, gate valve, replace guide rails, and sewer pipe.

Bids are requested for the following Contract:

OBTAINING THE BIDDING DOCUMENTS

Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found on the following

designated website:

Plans and Specifications are being made available via hard copy or digital download.

Plan Holders are required to log-in or register an account to view or order bid documents

at www.wavelandmsbids.com. Bid documents are non-refundable and must be

purchased through the website. Questions regarding website registration and online

orders are to contact Plan House at (228) 248-0181. No partial sets of drawings or

project manuals will be issued. No contract documents (hard copies or electronic copies)

will be issued to Contractors within twenty-four (24) hours of the time indicated above

for receiving bids.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on

Monday-Thursday between 8:00-5:00 and Friday 8:00-12:00 CST.

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS

Bids must be submitted upon the standard forms contained within these contract

documents furnished by Engineer, noted in the Information for Bidders. Each bid shall

be accompanied by a Certified Check on a solvent bank or a Bidder’s Bond issued by a

Surety Company licensed to operate in the State of Mississippi, in the amount of five

percent (5%) of the total bid price, payable to the owner as bid security. Bidders shall

also submit a current financial statement, if requested by the Owner. The successful

bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the

amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.

The required documents shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and the outside of the

envelope shall be marked plainly as: Sanitary Sewer Lift Station Rehabilitation Project

and the Certificate of Responsibility Number.

Bids shall be deposited with the City of Waveland, 301 Coleman Avenue, Waveland, MS

39576, or for those interested, bids can be submitted at www.wavelandmsbids.com

under the project page, prior to the hour and date designated above. No oral, telegraphic,

telephonic, or e-mail proposals shall be considered. All interpretations of drawings and

specifications shall be directed to Nancy Hoelzel at Chiniche Engineering & Surveying

by email to: nancyh@chiniche.com. An acknowledged received copy of all Addenda

issued by the Engineer via Plan House must be included with the bid proposal. No bidder

may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date of actual bid opening without

Owner’s consent. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any

or all informalities.

All contracts awarded under this advertisement will be funded in part by funds from the

Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) through the Mississippi

Municipality and County Water Infrastructure Grant (MCWI) Program. The successful

proposer will be required to comply with all MCWI Program regulations and

requirements.

Work to be performed shall be in accordance with all Federal, State and Local

Regulations and Codes.
