Description
The intention of the RFP is to award to one Proponent who submits a proposal which, in the sole opinion of UCalgary represents the best overall functionality and value. This RFP is a subset of University of Calgary’s LAN network. A subset is being specified, as not all of University of Calgary’s network devices are being refreshed at once.
UCalgary’s requires a Network Refresh in the following area:
The main Data Center (DC)
The wired and wireless in the Campus network infrastructure (WW)
All the network devices proposed in both "DC" and "WW" streams are expected to originate from a single manufacturer.
A Proponent workbook labelled “2024RFP0042 Proponent Workbook” outlines further details on what type of goods, services and licenses are required for this RFP. The detailed instructions can be found in Schedule D.
Requirements for the RFP includes the hardware, software scription, maintenance, transceivers and delivery of goods.
