SPACE UTILIZATION AND CONDITION ASSESSMENT STUDY FOR CITY FACILITIES
Solicitation #: RFP-15-024
The City of Healdsburg is soliciting proposals from knowledgeable, qualified firms to develop a Space Utilization and Condition Assessment Study for certain City Facilities in Healdsburg, CA.
The City of Healdsburg (City) seeks proposals from a qualified consultant to develop a Space Utilization and Condition Assessment Study for the City-Owned facilities listed below in the attached RFP Documents. Please see "Related Documents" section of this project page for complete requirements and RFP documents. All proposers must register for this project using the "View Documents" button on this project page. Responsive proposals must meet all requirements listed in the RFP documents available for download after registering. Â
The purpose of the Project is twofold. First, to provide an analysis of and recommendation for changes to the internal configuration of the facilities to maximize effective usage of space by the City staff. Second, to assess the relative condition of the facilities and develop a prioritized schedule of corrective work and preventative maintenance items. The Project will include a formal report, conceptual designs, timeline, and cost estimates that address both limitations and opportunities for reconfiguring the space to better meet current and future needs. The Project must identify near-term changes and upgrades in the layout of services (both public facing and internal facing) that will improve public service and staff effectiveness, as well as identifying long-term changes that may include significant structural alterations or improvements. The facilities have not been updated for several years and consideration should be given to improvements that fit the current workspace like new flooring, paint, casework, etc.
The Objectives of the Project are to:
A. Identify any major defects or deficiencies in the facilities
B. Establish a plan to optimize effective usage of facility space by City staff.
C. Provide a basis for forecasting funding requirements for capital improvement planning over the next 10 years.
D. Provide a baseline for setting priorities for the maintenance, repair, enhancement or replacement of the facilities and their component systems.
All proposals must be received either by mail or hand-delivered to 401 Grove Street, Healdsburg CA 95448 by 2:00PM PST, October 30, 2024. The City will not accept proposals submitted by email or fax, nor will it accept proposals submitted after the specified deadline.
