RE: ADDENDUM #3, BID NO. 20260498, MANHOLE REHABILITATION- ANNUAL CONTRACT
Bidders are hereby notified that this Addendum shall be made a part of the documents. The intent is to add to, modify, or clarify
the documents. Should any of these items have an effect on price, such changes shall be included in the price bid. These items
have the same force and effect as if contained in the original.
ITEM 1: DUE DATE EXTENSION
The due date has been extended to 2pm on July 22nd, 2026.
ITEM 3: ADDITION
TS-25 WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY: Contractor shall guarantee workmanship, materials and/or equipment
supplied as a result of the contract for a period of one (1) year from date of acceptance by the County.
ITEM 4: REPLACE
REPLACE TS-06:
a. The County estimates rehabilitating approximately 76 to 80 manholes annually, with an estimated annual
budget of approximately $150,000; however, no minimum amount is guaranteed or implied. Purchase
Orders shall be issued on an "as required" basis.
ITEM 2: QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
1. When does the Product Review Committee meet?

2. Will specific manholes require specific lining systems?
a. No. The County does not have a preference for a specific lining system, provided the proposed product
meets all requirements of the Contract Documents
3. Is the Contractor responsible for sandblasting and vacuum truck services?
a. Yes. The Contractor shall be responsible for sandblasting, and for providing vacuum truck services as
necessary to complete the work.
4. Does the trough at the bottom of the manhole require lining?

a. Yes. The entire manhole structure, including the trough/channel, shall be lined in accordance with the
Contract Documents.
5. If a cone section is determined to be deteriorated, must it be replaced?
a. No.
6. What is the approximate depth of the deepest manholes anticipated under this contract?
a. The County estimates the deepest manholes to be approximately 15 to 20 feet in depth.
7. What sizes of sewer mains are typically connected to the manholes?
a. The majority of manholes are connected to 12-inch to 18-inch gravity sewer mains.
8. How should active leaks within a manhole be addressed? (TS-19)
a. Active leaks shall be stopped using epoxy injection, cementitious materials, or other approved methods, as
appropriate for the specific field conditions.
9. Will the County add line item for MOT?
a. No change. MOT is anticipated to be rare and incidental to the work. No additional line item will be added.
10. Will the County add line item for chemical grout by the gallon?
a. No change. Chemical grouting is anticipated to be rare and incidental to the work. No additional line item will
be added.
11. Will the County add a separate specification section or pay item for cleaning?
a. No change. Cleaning necessary to perform the work shall be considered incidental to the contract
requirements. (TS-23)
Bidders are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made a part of the above-named proposal and contract documents.
The following is issued to modify, and/or clarify the proposal and contract documents. These items shall have the same force and
effect as the original bid and contract documents, and bids to be submitted on the specified date shall conform with the additions,
deletions and revisions as listed herein.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260498. Bidders
are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
