Sole Source Procurement
This is not a solicitation for bids or proposals. This is a notice of intent to purchase a product without seeking competition.
Any responses received as a result of this Notice of Intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses will not be considered as proposals, bids, or quotes. The proposed contract action is for products or services for which the College intends to negotiate and award with only one source, as permitted under the authority of the Utah Procurement Code (U.S.C. § 63G-6a-802, as amended).
Product and/or service to be purchased: Navigate360 Software
Proposed Sole Source Supplier: EAB Global Inc
Sole Source Justification: SLCC will be upgrading from Starfish to Navigate360 Software. Transitional costs with another vendor would be significant and unreasonable because of the substantial investment already made in shifting our institutional culture and practices. Upgrading to Navigate360 presents a fiscally and operationally sound path moving forward. This approach preserves the brand while modernizing the platform's capabilities. Additionally, aligning with the University of Utah's use of Nagivate360 enhances the transfer experience for our students, strengthening inter-institutional collaboration and support.
Year 1 Cost $140,850 plus $58,098 Implementation Fee
Responses:
Interested and capable vendors may respond to the stated requirements and justification by email or electronic communication through U3P. Such communication should include a statement regarding their capability to provide the specified procurement item. Responses will be considered only if they include clear and convincing documentation that demonstrates the capability of meeting or exceeding the requirements stated herein. All responses received by the due date and time specified in the posting will be reviewed by the College. A determination not to complete this proposed action based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of Salt Lake Community College Purchasing Services.
