Upper County Park New Walking Trail & Pedestrian Bridge

James City County is soliciting a Two-Step sealed competitive bid from qualified and experienced professional contractors licensed in the state of Virginia with the demonstrated capability and capacity for the Upper County Park New Walking Trial & Pedestrian Bridge project as described in this Invitation for Bids.

The Work under this Project consists of an 8’ wide asphalt trail, approximately 1,965 L.F. in length within the James City County Upper County Park.  The proposed trail is located to the East of the existing gravel parking lot within an existing grassed playing field.  The work also has 2 Stormwater BMPs as part of the project. (A Level 2 Dry Swale and an extended-detention basin).  The site also has extensive grading and the construction of grass swales to move the stormwater towards the BMP’s.  A wooden pedestrian bridge is also included as part of the project.

All supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools mad other appurtenances and/or incidentals required, and any other work required as specified in the Contract Documents, shown on the Drawings, or otherwise required to complete the work of this contract in accordance with the Contract Plan/Drawings and Specifications.
