Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Rock Island, on behalf of Joint Munitions Technology Command (JMTC), intends to issue a competitive Request for Quote (RFQ), on or about June 2025 with an estimated closing date of 30 days after issuance. The RFQ for the Consumable Welding Type Items in support of the Machine Working Metal Shop Set (MWMSS) will be issued under Small Business set a-side using a best value evaluation approach in accordance with Federal Regulation (FAR) 15.101.



The RFQ will solicit proposals for one (1) Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for five (5) years. The Price Matrix, that includes the items descriptions, will be attachments to the solicitation.



Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ. Contractors may obtain information on SAM registration by visiting: https://www.acquisition.gov.



Contractors must be registered in the Joint Certification Program (JCP).



CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereafter. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore, incumbent upon interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the same.
