This is a non-personnel services contract to perform inspections on Department of Defense fuel tanks. This service entails removal, disposal, transfer of remaining fuel, tank cleaning, replacing wiper seals, and providing an aboveground storage tank (AST) Inspection on tank(s) listed in Attachment B.

Questions and Answers
Question: When they empty the tank (88000) how much fuel will be left for them to transfer?
Answer: 2000 gallons
Question: Can you fuel be transferred into another tank nearby or will it need to be temporarily stored?
Answer: No secondary, waiting on approval to get a 10,000 gallon tank set up. Contractor will have to provide temp storage.
Question: If temporary storage is required, will the temporary tank have to be certified clean and internally coated?
Answer: Yes
Question: What type of IFR does the tank have (steel, aluminum panel or aluminum skin)?
Answer: Steel
Question: Does the roof manway have a ladder to the IFR?
Answer: Yes
PWS and Attachment B have been updated to provide correct amount of remaining gallons of fuel in the tank. The attached, "Attachment 2 - Performance Work Statement (PWS) Updated 4-23-2025" supersedes "Attachment 2 - Performance Work Statement (PWS)". The attached, "Attachment B - Fuel Storage Tank LIst Updated 4-23-2025" supersedes "Attachment B - Fuel Storage Tank LIst Updated 4-21-2025".
**AMENDMENT 001: PWS/Attachment B Clarification – Fuel Storage Tank LIst Updated 4-21-2025**
Question: Could you please clarify the intended work for this project? Attachment B and the PWS contradict themselves. The PWS indicates internal inspections however Attachment B indicates external inspections only.
Answer: A discrepancy was identified between the PWS and Attachment B regarding inspection types. The PWS clearly states the requirement for internal inspections. Attachment B has been updated to remove any reference to external inspections only and to align with the PWS requirements. Bidders must adhere to the inspection requirements outlined in the PWS. The attached, "Attachment B - Fuel Storage Tank LIst Updated 4-21-2025" supersedes "Attachment B - Fuel Storage Tank LIst".
