This DOES NOT guarantee any future or follow on contracts. The Government reserves the right to cancel this requirement at any time, without warning or notice. Providing any information, quotes and/or estimates is completely voluntary and shall be provided at NO COST TO THE GOVERNMENT. This requirement may be subject to FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds or FAR 52.232-19 Availability of Funds for the Next Fiscal Year.



1. PURPOSE: The purpose of this requirement is to upgrade network infrastructure (fiber lines) for building 933 on Osan Air Base, South Korea. Further details about this project will be provided at the site visit per paragraph 2 of this sources sought notice. The information gathered from this sources sought notice will be used to develop a formal requirement.



2. SITE VISIT: A site visit for this requirement is tentatively scheduled for 1330 (1:30 PM) local South Korean Time (UTC+9:00), on Friday, 25 Oct 2024. NO CONTRACTOR IS AUTHORIZED TO INCUR COST, and the Government SHALL NOT reimburse any costs associated with attending a site visit. Contractors may choose to attend this site visit voluntarily. Please contact the members in paragraph 4 to attend the site visit.



3. VAR Required: In order to be eligible to attend the site visit, contractors shall submit a Visit Authorization Request (VAR) to Security Management Office (SMO) code OP0RF8JM6.

5. ADDITONAL INFORMATION: This requirement may be subject to USFKI 4901.01, INVITED CONTRACTOR AND TECHNICAL REPRESENTATIVE PROGRAM, dated 20 April 2023. The Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) in South Korea mandates the use of Korean contractors in the ROK whenever possible. If a Korean Prime Contractor cannot meet the needs of the US Government and this potential future requirement, please contact the members stated in paragraph 4 of this notice and provide a reason.



6. QUESTIONS: Please provide all questions in writing to the members stated in paragraph 4 of this notice.



7. ROM & Estimates: The Government asks industry to provide a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) or estimates for this requirement to the members stated in paragraph 4 of this notice, no later than (NLT) 29 Oct 2024 at 12:00 pm (1200, noon) local South Korean time (UTC+9:00). It is recommended that ROMs and/or estimates should include drawings or exhibits to depict your company’s proposed solution to satisfy the needs of this requirement.
