RFP No. 466-01-24-25 CHILD CARE PROVIDERS AND EXPANDED LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES PROGRAM(ELO-P) MIDDLE SCHOOL SITES

Fremont Unified School District (“District”) is requesting proposals from interested childcare service providers to operate licensed child care programs under a Joint-Use Agreement and concurrently operate the District’s expanded learning opportunities program (“ELO-P”) after school for the 2025-26 school year. Childcare providers are needed on five (5) of the District’s middle school sites to serve children residing in the City of Fremont and attending District schools. Respondents to this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) should submit an electronic copy of their proposal and all other documents required by this RFP (“Submittal”) in PDF format via email, with the subject “Childcare and ELO-P Services RFP – [Respondent’s Name] Proposal” to:

If you have any questions regarding this RFP, please contact Shan Li, Director of Purchasing, at sli@fusdk12.net before 4:00 P.M. on Monday, April 7, 2025. Questions must be submitted in writing and answers will be posted on the District website fremontunified.org (under Current Bid Opportunities) no later than Friday, April 11, 2025.

ALL RESPONSES ARE DUE BY3:00 P.M., ON Friday, April 25, 2025. Any Submittal received after that date and time will not be accepted. FAXED, PERSONALLY DELIVERED OR MAILED RESPONSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

RESPONDENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR READING THIS RFP IN ITS ENTIRETY. Each Submittal must conform and be responsive to the requirements set forth in this RFP. The District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in received Submittals. Further, the District reserves the right to reject any and all submittals and to negotiate contract terms with one or more respondent firms for one or more of the work items. The District retains the sole discretion to determine issues of compliance and to determine whether a respondent is responsive, responsible, and qualified.

The District makes no representation that participation in the RFP process will lead to an award of contract or any consideration whatsoever. In no event will the District be responsible for the cost of preparing a response to this RFP. All Respondents will be responsible for obtaining any addendums to this RFP which will be posted in the same manner as the RFP documents. No Submittal shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after submittal to the District.
