RFQ: Professional Parks, Recreation, and Outdoor Facility Design Services

Dade County is soliciting qualifications from firms able to provide the following services to include (but not limited to) concept report preparation and validation, park planning, trail and recreation facility design, landscaping, site development, surveys and mapping, preliminary construction plans, final construction plans, erosion control plans, permit assistance, and related services. Services may also include design and construction support for park improvements such as athletic court resurfacing, parking lot and trail resurfacing, sports and security lighting, drainage improvements, and related infrastructure upgrades.
Typical projects may include development of the scope of construction; preparation of concept, preliminary, and final design documents; environmental documentation; coordination of utilities; preparation of specifications and bid documents; and contract administration.
Typical projects will generally fall into the following categories:

¿        Trailheads and Access Facilities
¿        Trails (Pedestrian or Multi-use)
¿        Recreational Site Development and Passive Recreation Areas
¿        Park Improvements and Rehabilitation (including resurfacing, lighting, and facility upgrades)
